Recently a research result  about our mood swings on all the days of the week has been announced by researchers .This research is done on lot of peoples to analyze  the behaviour  of our moods on every days in America , and England . 

According  to this research on Monday after a week end break every one find it difficult to adjust to their daily routine work . The stress about going to work will be more . Our body and mind will be in tired mood. Our brain will work slow only . Hence avoid any major decision on this day.

CORRUPTION INDEX PERFORMANCE OF INDIA

We the Indian are proud of various achievements of our country in various fields . I am also one to be proud about our achievements . But this survey data is not to be proud about , to any of our Indian citizens .

We all know corruption has become a part of our life . The corruption has spread it's hands from here and there. Everybody would have come across corruption in their life one or many time .

Recently a survey has been released about least corrupted countries and worst corrupted countries .

This corruption perception index 2010 was released by Transparency International. In the scale score 10 means very clean , and score 0 means highly corrupted . In this survey of the178 countries Denmark , Newzealand, Singapore came first in the corruption perception index 2010 . That means they are cleaner countries . Their score is 9.3 each .

Of the major countries Canada stood in the 6 th place with 8.9 points . Australia and Switzerland in the 8 th position . USA is in 22 nd position with 7.1 points. Russia fared poor . They are in the 154 th position with just 2.1 points.

Wonder where our India placed ? It is in the 87 th position with just 3.3points . Our neighbour China is in 78th position with 3.5 points . What about Pakistan ? They are with 2.3 points in the 143rd position .

The last country in the 178th place is Somalia with just 1.1 points. Nearly one third of the 178 countries scored below five points . When will we Indians be in the list of clean countries ?

ASHES THIRD TEST

In a surprise the Australian team beat England team in the ashes third test played at the W.A.C.A stadium at Perth.

The England team which fought the first two tests superbly , surprisingly surrendered to the Australian team with out a fight. This gives the much needed boost and confidence to the Australian team in the remaining two tests.


In the first innings Australian's scored 268 runs , with the contribution from the reliable Mike Hussey who scored 61 runs. Brad Haddin and Mitchell Johnson who was dropped in the second test for poor form scored some valuable runs . The former scored 53 runs and the latter scored 62 runs. For England Anderson and Tremlerr claimed 3 wickets each.

The England replied in a pathetic way . Only Strauss , and Bell crossed 50 runs and they only able to score 187 runs only. For Australia Johnson suddenly regained form , who bowled ordinarily in the previous matches , claimed 6 wickets.

In the second innings Australia scored 309 runs with Hussey top scored with 116 runs and Watson scored 95 runs. The pathetic form of ponting continued in this match also . He only able to score 12 and 1 run in both innings .


The England never gave a fight and surrendered meekly to the Aussie bowling cheaply for 123 runs . This time Ryan Harris claimed 6 wickets and helped Australia equal the series so far with 1 each . Australia and Ponting had a sigh of relief with this win , and may face their remaining two matches with confidence. On the other hand England have to work hard to win the series .

RAHUL DRAVID - TEST'S THIRD HIGHEST RUN GETTER

The wall of Indian cricket Rahul Dravid achieved a mile stone in the on going test match against South Africa at Super sport park Centurion in South Africa .

When he scored 11 runs yesterday he became the test's third highest run getter surpassing Brian Lara's 11,953 runs . He achieved this feast in his 148th test match .

With Sachin Tendulkar remaining in number one position with more than 14,000 runs from 175 tests, this achievement from Rahul Dravid tell the story of
Indian's domination of the world cricket .

Ricky Ponting with his more than 12,000 runs remain in the second top. Jacques Kallis with 11449 runs is the only batsmen who can compete with Rahul . The race to second and third position will be an interesting contest in the coming days.

With all these players age more than 35 , and may be these players will be in their end of their carrier, with one or two years of playing possible for all these players, this will also make this competition more fiery and more interesting in the coming days .

FIRST TIED TEST MATCH IN CRICKET HISTORY

Yesterday December 14th was a land mark day in the Test Cricket history.

Yes , exactly 50 years before, on December 14th 1960 , the first ever tied test match happened at the Brisbane cricket ground .

The match was played between Australia and the West Indies teams from December 9th to 14th .

Those were the days test cricket were played for six days though the match was held for 5 days only , with a rest day in between . In the first innings West Indies scored 453 runs , after a disastrous start of 65 for 3 wickets , thanks to Garfield Sober's 132 runs. Worrell , Solomon , Alexander , W.Hall were the other batsmen who scored more than 50 runs .Allan Davidson claimed 5 wickets for 135 runs. L.F. Kline took 3 wickets for 52 runs.

In the reply Australia scored 505 runs with the help of Norm o Neill's 181 runs . He played for 401 minutes according to records to score these runs. Mcdonald and R.B.Simpson scored 57 and 92 runs respectively. Hall took 4 wickets for 140 runs.

In the second innings West Indies scored 284 runs with Kanhai, Worrell, and Solomon contributed with their bat, and Allan Davidson again scalped 6 West indies wickets for 87 runs .

And Australians were set a target of 233 runs to win . With Davidson and R.Benaud were the players only able to score more than 50 with a score of 80 and 52 respectively , and Hall's 5 wicket for 63 runs made Australians score 232 runs only and the West Indies able to clinch a first ever tie in a test match .

"Those give meals to one, is the one who gives life to him " this is a proverb in Tamil. Yes in our life we will not satisfy for any thing , except food .



In India there are lot of children are not going to school because they are not able to get even a meal for one time a day . These underprivileged children first need food to survive , and this holy mission is carried out by an organisation called "Akshyapatra Foundation" in Bangalore.


This foundation was started by "Sri.Bhakthivedanta swami Prabupadha "in June 2000 and now they feed more than 12 lakhs children across India .

WHERE ARE WE GOING ?

Recently I went to attend a function of one my relative . There I met one of my relation who is an old man and who is in his eighties.

Though he has sons and daughters who are all well off now , he is now living in an old age people home. One of his son has brought him to attend the function from the home.The old man is in the old age people home for couple of years.

When I had a chat with that old man , I was surprised by his words. When I asked him , after this function are you going to reside again with one of your sons or daughters? Have you vacate your home ? The old man replied in negative . He said he is very much like to stay in the old age home., rather than staying in his sons or daughters home. Enough is enough . Now I enjoy a peaceful, pleasant life . After my wife's death, I was treated like an odd person to live, with my sons , their wives, and even for my daughters. They all thought that , i am like an unwanted luggage to carry with them . I lost all my freedom, all my peace . Though me and my wife struggled very hard to give a good life to my sons and my daughters where they are now . All my life went with my wife .

But in the home I realize my self , I am very busy with my other friends who are also in their end of their life, who are also left by their sons or others for one or other reasons. We enjoy our world .We draw, we sing , we read , we do all sort of things we did in our young days . All I want now is let God take me to him at the earliest and in a peaceful manner.

Why this is happening in a country known for it's cultures. For the last two generations people prefer short families. We shrink our family to our self, our wife , our children . That's all . There is no place for elders . We easily forget the people who brought up us , by whom we are now in a position in the society , that is "OUR PARENTS" .

We find time to spend with our wife,our children , our friends, our neighbours , , but we never find time to spare with our parents . With out their sacrifice will we be here ? All they need is some kind words , kind attention , that's all !

In a country known for it's rich heritage , and culture isn't a shame for all of us , not protecting our elder parents in their old age ?

2010 - ASHES - 2ND TEST

The misery of Ponting's men seems to be an unending story . Once strong in world cricket , the Australian's were not able to find their winning mantra once again , and fall to England in the second test played at Adelaid Oval . England resumed from where they left in the first test , and dominated the second test also . In the first innings once again Mike Hussey rescued the Australians with his valuable 93 and Haddin and Watson were the other contributors for Australia with their fifty plus score. Ponting's poor batting form continues and still he struggle with his bat , Australians will be in trouble with lot of new players in the fray. The second test fully belong to England and in their reply they scored a big 620 runs for loss of five wickets , thanks to the form found batsman Kevin Pietersen who scored 227 runs . Again Cook , Trott, Bell all played valuable knocks and put England in a commanding position . The 375 runs lead seems to be a hill to be climbed task for the Ponting's men and they were all out for 304 runs and lost the test with a innings to spare . As i already wrote unless Ponting find his rhythm , and able to score huge runs it will be a tough challange to him and his team to find winning ways . With this win England registered their 100th win against Australia and move one up against Australia in the Ashes series . Ponting first time in 10 year period fell below top 20 in Test batsman ranking and it shows all . With the third test going to played from 16th at Perth , the Australians will be in search for their winning habit, and may bounce back or will they surrender to this England team ? Let us wait and watch .

2010 ASHES - 1ST TEST

In the ongoing ashes series in Australia it was England who emerge in top so far. Once dominant Australians were not able to find an answer for their declining form .

In the first test at Brisbane though Australians were able to gain control of the match for first 3 days . In the first innings England made 260 runs only with Ian Bell's 76 . Siddle took 6 wickets and able gain some respect for Australians in the first innings .

Australians gave a strong reply thanks to Mike Hussey's 195 who is in good form so far in the series and the only man the Australians hope to save their matches , and Haddin's 136 .

Every one thought that the match is going to be won by the Australians , the top order batsmen of England thought other wise and while Strauss and Trott scored hundreds , Cook was unbeaten on 235 , and they scored 517 runs for 1 wicket loss .

From this the Australians were not able to recover. The depleted Australian bowling resource exposed and the first test ended in a draw.

TRUST YOUR GOD

Once a man was walking on a shaking bridge and feared for his life . Suddenly he saw the god on the other side of the bridge. The man was happy , and asked the God to come near to him.

But the God did not come near to him. The man got upset , and angry with the God and thought to him self that from now on wards i will not believe God and will not worship him . He crossed the shaking bridge with very difficulty and reached the other end and felt relieved. When he reached the other end , he saw that the God was holding the broken end of the bridge in his hand . The man felt ashamed , and felt sorry for his thoughts. Always trust your God. ஆன்மீகம் என்பது சிறந்த அறிவுத் திறன் இல்லை . அது உயர்ந்த இலட்சியங்களுடையவராக இருப்பதோ, நல்லொழுக்கமோ,தவநெறியோ இல்லை. சமயப் பற்றும் இல்லை . உணர்ச்சி வேகமும் இல்லை. இந்தச் சிறந்த குணங்கள் அனைத்தும் இணைந்த ஒன்றும் இல்லை.

ஆன்மீகத்தின் சாரம் நமது மனம், உயிர், உடல் அல்லாமல் நமது ஜீவனின் அக உண்மையாக உள்ள ஒரு மெய்ப் பொருளுக்கு, ஆன்மாவுக்கு விழித்தெழுதல் ஆகும் .

அதை அறிய வேண்டும், அதை உணர வேண்டும், அதுவே ஆகவேண்டும் என்ற உள் ஆர்வம் என்றும் இருக்கும். பிரபஞ்சம் முழுவதும் ஊடுருவிப் பரவியும் அதற்கு அப்பாலும் இருந்து அதே சமயம் நமது சொந்த ஜீவனிலும் உறைகின்ற பேருண்மையுடன் தொடர்பு கொள்ளுதல், அதனுடன் உறவு ஏற்படுத்தல், அதனுடன் ஐக்கியமாதலே ஆன்மிகம் ஆகும் .

அந்த ஆர்வத்தின், அந்தத் தொடர்பின், அந்த ஐக்கியத்தின் பயனாக நமது ஜீவன் முழுவதற்கும் ஒரு புதிய திருப்பம், ஒரு மாற்றம், ஒர் உருமாற்றம் ஏற்படும். நாம் ஒரு புதிய ஜீவனாக, ஒரு புதிய ஆன்மாவாக வளர்வோம் .

நமது இதயபூர்வமான பிரார்த்தனை எதுவும் வீண்போவதில்லை.

நாம் எதையும் மறைத்து வைக்காமல் நம்மை இறைவனுக்குக் கொடுப்போம், அப்பொழுது மிகச் சிறந்த முறையில் இறைவனின் அருளைப் பெறலாம்.

அருள் வேறுபாடின்றி எல்லாருக்கும் உண்டு. ஆனால் ஒவ்வொருவனும் அவனவனுடைய நேர்மைக்குத் தக்கபடி பெற்றுக்கொள்கிறான்

இறைவனின் அருள் ஒன்றே சாந்தி, மகிழ்ச்சி, ஆற்றல், ஒளி, ஞானம், உயர்ந்த இன்பம், அன்பு ஆகியவற்றை அவற்றின் சாரத்திலும் உண்மையிலும் தரமுடியும்.

அன்னையின் அருளுரை - வாழும் முறை

சொந்த இலாப நஷ்டங்களைப் பற்றிக் கவலைப்படாமல், எந்தப் பற்றுதல்களும் இல்லாமல், எந்த விருப்பு வெறுப்புகளும் இல்லாமல், வெற்றி, அதிகாரம், சுயதிருப்தி, இவற்றையெல்லாம் விரும்பாமல் தெய்வ வேலை ஒன்றையே செய்வேன், வேறு எந்த வேலையையும் செய்யமாட்டேன் என்று தீர்மானம் செய்துகொள்ளவும் வேண்டும்.
இந்த முறையில், அகங்காரம் உன்னைவிட்டு அகலும்.
