Destroy all your evil qualities such as pride, ego and wickedness. Whenever you drive away all these evil qualities, you will become a pure human being.

Wherefrom does humanness come? It comes from your heart. Here, the heart is not referred to as the physical heart but the spiritual heart, which is free of all blemishes.

Like fragrant air, your purity should spread everywhere. You should share with others, pure thoughts and pure feelings that emanate from you. Whatever you do, it should be helpful to others.

DIVINE DISCOURSE - SRI MOTHER

You will await your joys and pleasures from the Divine alone.

In him alone will you seek and find help and support.

He will comfort you in all your sorrows, guide you on the

path, lift you up if you stumble and if there are moments

of failure and exhaustion , he will take you up in his

strong arms of love and enfold you in his soothing

sweetness .

Man has become artificial, crooked, twisted out of his normal shape. He has left behind the simple natured ways and made his mind a lumber - room for ideas, worries, anxieties and terrors.

He can live on very much less, with much greater joy for himself and others. If only he remembers that he is a treasure chest with the Divine spark in it, he will be more loving and useful.

There must be a Divine purpose in life. Man must know the way to attain God, must be led and guided to attain him, must be educated to rid himself of distractions on the path, must know that, which if known, all else is known. The rest is all secondary, incidental and unnecessary.

Some day or the other, this precious human life has to be consigned to the earth. Before it happens, it is the duty of every human being to realize the purpose of human birth.

Man has to purify his nature and realize the fact that human birth is only for the purpose of manifesting his Divine Divinity and not for enjoying sensual pleasures.

MADHYASHTAMI

Earlier we have discussed about mahalayam a ritual that is being observed before navarathri festival .

Madhyashtami falls in the eight day of mahalayam , and the thithi is ashtami .

This day is important for the worship of Lord Bairava .

By worshipping him we can be sure of removing all ill effects in our life .

Lord Bairava can be seen in all Saiva temples and he will be in the direction of south .

Every life is a new chance, a fresh opportunity for realizing the Truth. Yesterday is gone; Today is the fresh chance, the new opportunity is now;

Tomorrow, you cannot be sure of. Every minute is to be welcomed as unique and as valuable, precious in fact.

Do not pine over the chunks of time you have wasted. Seize the moment that has come within your grasp.

Each second is a fresh chance given to you, for training the mind, refining the intellect, purifying the emotions, strengthening the will for getting confirmed in the conviction, that you are the deathless soul.
