FINGERS AND PRAYERS
Your thumb is nearest you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember.
To pray for our loved ones is, a "sweet duty".
The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal.
They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers.
The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders.
These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance.
The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger.
It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night.
And lastly comes our little finger - the smallest finger of all ,which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others.
"The least shall be the greatest among you." It reminds you to pray for yourself.
By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively...
Don't tell God how big your storm is - tell the storm how big your God is!

Man has to purify his nature and realize the fact that human birth is only for the purpose of manifesting his Divine Divinity and not for enjoying sensual pleasures.

It is easy to conquer anger through love, attachment through reasoning, falsehood through truth, bad through good and greed through charity.
No reply should be given to the words of the wicked. Be at a great distance from them. That is for your good. Seek the company of the good people, even at the sacrifice of your honour and life.
Do pray to God to bless you with the discrimination needed to distinguish good people and the bad. You must also endeavour with the intellect given to you. Whatever acts a good or bad person may do, the fruits thereof will follow him and will never stop pursuing him .
