Believe in yourself first. Then believe in the Omnipresent Lord. When you have faith in these two, neither the good nor the bad will affect you.

When one is deluded by the mere external world and when one does not attain success in external desires, the faith in the Lord diminishes. So, give up such desires.

Desire only for the spiritual relationship. Then you won't become the target of doubts and difficulties. The important thing for this is faith in the Lord. Without Faith, you start doubting everything - big and small

Sri Aurobindo statue at UNESCO Head Quarters

One of the important spritual leader, philosopher of modern India Sri Aurobindo's statue is installed in UNESCO's head quarters in the Paris on September 16 th 2009.

It is sculpted by a Puduchery based art gallery Aurodhan .

It is made up of bronze and it has seven and half feet height. It is finished in two years time.

More than 250 prominent personolities from all over the world attended the function .

A characterless man is like a pot with many holes, useless for carrying water or storing it.

If the heart has many leaks, the sweetness will be drained away and you cannot offer God the full heart. Egoism, pride, thirst for fame - all these are leaks.

If people let loose their thoughts, words and deeds, calamity will be the consequence. Be simple in your method of living.

Reform the body, reconstruct the mind, regulate the way of living;

It does not matter if the standard of life is poor, provided the way of life is pure.

THE FOUR YUGAS

According to Hindu mythology there are four yugas . They are Kirutha Yuga , Thretha Yuga , Dwapara Yuga , and Kali Yuga .

According to vedas Kirutha Yuga contains 17 lakhs and 28 thousand years .

Thretha Yuga contains 12 lakhs and 96 thousand years .

Dwapara Yuga contains 8 lakhs and 64 thousand years .

We are now in Kali Yuga and it contains 4 lakhs 32 thousand years .

So far 5110 years are compleated in the Kali Yuga .
